Why Have A
Dietary Assessment?
Dr. Taylor offers three basic
programs for
nutritional healing. Fees are paid in
advance. Supplements and lab fees are
separate. Program One consists of two
visits. Program Two consists of five
visits and includes the Rejuvenation Program. Program Three consists of
ten
visits over six months. Program three is
recommended for chronic health conditions.
These programs are not a substitute for medical care.
The first consultation is about an
hour
involving a comprehensive dietary assessment including your health and
dietary
history, and any symptoms and a nutritional exam. Prior to your
consultation
you will complete metabolic questionnaire, to assist the doctor in
evaluating
the foundational issues. This visit will
conclude with some foundational dietary and even supplement
recommendations, as
well as recommendations for further testing. If further testing is
indicated
the details of these tests (which are conducted by an external company.
Fees for test vary and are due in
advance. The details will be discussed
at your first consultation.
CLINICAL NUTRITION
We offer several approaches to supporting your health through nutrition: clinical nutrition with whole food supplements, therapeutic nutrition, consultations and functional laboratory evaluation. All programs begin with a metabolic symptom survey and health analysis. Recommendations are made for your unique health needs.

Dr. Taylor has practiced as a Clinical
Nutritionist since 1983. In 1995 she completed her Bachelors’ degree in
Nutrition after a rigorous academic program of
study which included 14 credits in biochemistry. Her electives included Behavior and
Nutrition, Environmental Influences on Nutrition and an independent research
course for which she completed a research paper entitled The influences of
nutrition on the symptoms of menses in vegetarian and non vegetarian women.
Not all chiropractors have the extensive
clinical or academic background in nutrition that Dr. Taylor has. She is considered by her colleagues to be
exceptionally knowledgeable in the field of nutrition. Her patients speak highly of her clinical expertise. (See Testimonials Page). In 1996 she designed a comprehensive, guided,
21 day rejuvenation program which can be designed for individual needs. Many patients report great success in meeting
their nutritional goals on these programs, including weight loss, energy and
general rejuvenation, numerous fibromyalgia patients, several diabetics, a teen
age epileptic, a Parkinson’s patient and many others.
In 1981 she completed
a manuscript called: The dietary needs of vegetarian and vegan pregnant
women.
